Pangea Software, Inc. Developing for Mac OS and iOS since 1987. GAMES FOR iOS. GAMES FOR tvOS. This is the shareware re-released version of our old game Power Pete. It's still just as fun as it was when it was first released! Now a free download! Power Pete is an overhead view 2D shooter developed by Pangea Software and published. It won Best Arcade Game of the Year for 1995 from Macworld magazine and was a runner up in the MacUser magazine Best New Game award for 1995. Mike, also providing a demo version of the game available to download.
Doomdoom11: GOG should make a windows version of this game.it's awesome. GOG doesn't 'make Windows (or Mac OS) versions' of any game, they just use already-available tools to get existing versions to run (DOSBox/Boxer, ScummVM, and Wine, specifically). Since Power Pete/Mighty Mike requires a PowerPC Macintosh, it's damned near impossible to make a commercially viable solution to get the game to run on modern machines since no such solution exists that does not require a license for both Mac OS 7/8/9 and a Mac ROM. The only 'GOG-like' solution I can think of to run old Mac software on modern machines is Executor, but that only emulates a 68030 or 68040 CPU (and System 6.0.8 and 7.0 to some extent), and thus doesn't run anything that requires a PPC (like Power Pete). Ian: You can get the game from here + there is a link to buy it from the publisher + there is information about an emulator for windows that will run the game no problem Ah, so it does run on 68k machines, that's not the impression I got from Wikipedia.
Well then, grab a copy of Executor and install the thing. Basilisk II also works, of course, but then you'll need a copy of Mac OS (version 7.5.3 is free from Apple), as well as the Mac ROM (which is not legally free). I believe GOG would appreciate you not linking to 'abandonware' though, unless the game is confirmed to be freeware at this point (The Macintosh Garden holds a lot of software that has not been released as freeware, abandonware is not a legal term but is in fact still piracy). Miaghstir: Ah, so it does run on 68k machines, that's not the impression I got from Wikipedia.

The only reason i posted the link was because it has a link to BUY the game.
The fact wether u buy it or pirate it, is down to the users conscience. If there had been no buy option, i would have pm the op.
This is the second link i have posted trying to help in similar circumstances, there wont be a third.
