I believe this was a result of the previous ban's exemption of weapons manufactured prior to a certain date. Download since i left you the avalanches zip free. (somewhere in the mid to late 80's- I have to research the exact year) I just don't trust the people or the system that has been established to administer/enforce the new guidelines to be educated enough in the intricacy of 922r regs and accurate indentification processes. Bottom line: I need to arm myself with as much info as possible to defend myself from confiscation. My rifle is an Century inch with three different numbers on the receiver: Just below the rear sight: AD6202617 Above the magwell where the carry handle rests in folded position: 127258 Two places on the bolt itself: 620617 (same as receiver less the 'AD', however these marking are etched rather than stamped) I'm interested in any info that these number provide, but I am primarily concerned with nailing down the date of manufacture.
